Not the average day job
Stretch my skills
Despite having a “day job” I do keep a small client roster. They give me opportunities to stretch myself and it’s wonderful to be able to apply skills learned across the larger and smaller projects. These are recently active clients.
as a generalist
Once upon a time, the webmaster did it all. Nowadays, you tend to either be a web developer or a web designer, or more rarely some of both. Having started in graphic design, but with programming influences all along the way, I fall into this last group and over time, have become a generalist.
