I started out drawing when I was very young, and computer programming not long after, and that’s what started me on this path. Drawing led to art and design, and print graphic design as a vocation. Programming led to logic and problem-solving and even a little operations research. Since that time, I have delved into many technologies, and continue to daily. One led to another, to solve some problem or other, so that I now have a great breadth of experience in my industry. Ample breadth for an initial diversion that is now a primary vocation — orchestrating the web sites for four-year liberal arts schools, Willamette several years ago and now Lewis & Clark.
Working for institutions and clients large and small, with very different needs, allows me to cross many lines, bringing ideas and methods from one to another. Clearly, my work is ever-changing — something I truly enjoy.
